What an astrology reading involves

Your natal chart is a map of the sky at the moment and place you were born. A reading interprets that map — the placements of the Sun, Moon, and planets, the rising sign, and the relationships between them — in the context of your question. A transit reading adds the current sky, looking at how today’s planetary movements interact with your natal positions.

A good reading is a conversation, not a verdict. It offers pattern, timing, and perspective; you stay the author of your decisions. Readings are interpretive guidance and are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice — see our astrology disclaimer.

Why we ask for a birth time

The birth time anchors your rising sign and the twelve houses — the parts of a chart that change fastest. An exact time gives the sharpest reading. If yours is approximate or unknown, say so during intake: the reading will lean on the placements that don’t depend on it, and will say so plainly rather than guess.
